Open source is the foundation of modern software, but fixing security issues can leave organizations choosing between disruptive upgrades, delayed fixes, or private patches. Project Lightwell offers another path. It combines AI-assisted remediation with human expertise to develop and validate security fixes for the software organizations already use. Those fixes are also submitted back to the original open source projects. This session will explore how Lightwell helps organizations reduce production risk while improving security across the wider open source ecosystem.
