Session
Managing multiple Kubernetes clusters can be complex, but Submariner makes it easier by enabling seamless communication between Pods and Services across different environments. As one of the earliest and fully open-source implementations of the Kubernetes MCS API, Submariner operates at layer 3 of the OSI model, supporting communication for any type of application data or protocol. In this hands-on tutorial, we'll take a deep dive into Submariner's architecture, configuration, and practical applications. You'll learn how to set up secure connections between clusters, discover and access services across cluster boundaries, and troubleshoot common issues. Whether you're working with hybrid or multi-cloud deployments, this tutorial will provide you with the necessary skills to effectively use Submariner. Participants will have the chance to experiment with Submariner in the lab environment or use pre-deployed clusters on any cloud providers.
